インド北部のヒマラヤ山脈に位置するスピティ渓谷。ヒッキムという小さな村には、なんと世界一標高が高い郵便局があります！標高4440mにあるこの郵便局は、このエリアに暮らす人々を外の世界と繋ぐ重要な役割をはたしています。
私はこのスピティ渓谷の小さな村々を、一週間程トレッキングしながら回っていたのですが、すごく良かったです！ここ以外にもヒマラヤ山脈の色んなエリアを旅してたんですけど、人も文化も自然も、もう全てが素晴らしかったですね。山好きの方、もしインドに行く事があったら、ぜひ北のヒマラヤの方まで足を伸ばしてください!
Located in Spiti Valley in the Himalayas in northern India, the small village Hikkim has the world’s highest post office! At an elevation of 4,440m, this tiny little post office is a vital connection to the rest of the world.
I was trekking around this area for about a week, from village to village and had a lot of fun! I also explored some other parts of the Himalayas. The people, the culture and the nature, everything was gorgeous there. If you love mountains and ever go to India, you should definitely go to the Himalayas!
