I went to a cafe in Shibuya with my friend over the weekend. It was surprisingly really popular, the line went outside and down the sidewalk! We had to wait in line outside for almost 15 minutes, when we got to the counter we ordered the cafe’s special sandwich and ice coffee. As expected, they were delicious.

I went to Disney Land a few weeks ago, the day after Children’s day, and luckily it wasn’t crowded at all. The Journey To the Center of the Earth was my favorite ride.

This year, I went to Yokohama for Golden Week. One of the highlights of the day trip was the Fruhlings Fest at the Red Brick Warehouse. The festival was really packed with people, most of them were in line to buy beer and sausages. I didn’t have a lot of time so I couldn’t buy them but they smelled delicious.
今年のGWは横浜に行ってきました。この日帰り旅一番のハイライトは、赤レンガ倉庫でやっていたフューリングフェストです。会場は人で溢れかえってて、だいたいの人がビールやソーセージを買うために並んでました。時間があまりなくて私は買えなかったんですが、すっごくいい匂いでした。

It’s been about 5 months since we adopted our new chinchilla, Niko Niko.
Now that she isn’t cautious of us and has gotten used to her environment, her true personality has come out. She’s a huge spoiled brat! The other day she was upset that we weren’t playing with her so she threw a tantrum. She kept making a mess of her cage until we finally let her out to play.
チンチラのニコニコが家に来てから、約5ヶ月が経ちました！
私たちへの警戒心もなくなり、生活環境にも慣れてきた今、本当の姿を見せるようになったニコニコ。彼女はちょー甘えん坊なんです！この前なんか、私たちがちょっとかまってあげなかったら、癇癪を起したんですよ。一緒に遊んであげるまで、ずっとケージの中を荒らしてました。

I saw Sugita Yohei’s work in Shibuya last month. He uses a mixture of resin and paint to create very textured paintings as well as a few sculptures.
先月渋谷で杉田陽平の展示を見てきました。樹脂と絵具を混ぜ合わせたものを使って、彫刻と同様に、質感のある絵画も創作しています。
