TRAIN WEEK!!!! 電車 オタク!!!!
Train picture contest!

One of my favorite walking courses is to get off the train at Kinshicho station and walk to Skytree. After that, I head to Sumidagawa and walk along the path beside the water to the Asahi building. Then, I usually cross the bridge and take a picture of all of the buildings together. Here are a couple of pictures from my last walk around that area.
If you get a chance, you should try that course. It’s nice.
Do you have any favorite routes to walk? Please share it with us

In January, I hung out with my friends in Harajuku. We went to a couple of small galleries. When we were walking, we saw this knight that seemed to be guarding a shipping container. Above the knight, was a crack in the wall. In the crack was a clock. I think the knight is a time traveler. And he’s guarding a time machine inside the shipping container. What do you think?

Hello everyone! I’m Samantha. I started working at Jabble this June. I’ve never worked in Chiba before, so on my last day off I explored and walked around Ichikawa. I found this lovely park near Wayo Women’s University. It also has an impressive rose garden with a fountain. You should check it out if you’ve never been there.
Funny exercise failures.

Toshiko Okanoue Exhibition at Teien
My sister, my brother in law and I went to an exhibition in Tokyo. It was an exhibition at the Teien Art museum in Tokyo. We saw Toshiko Okanoue’s artwork. She makes collage artworks that are like eerie dreams. A lot of her artwork have women in them, but their heads are often replaced with an inanimate object. Her artwork really went well with the art deco interior of the museum.

One semi-popular summer event that a lot of people don’t know about is the Mud Bowl! In most
places, a mud bowl is a like a sports day, but you play in a big, muddy field. Usually, a school, church,
or businesses host these competitions in the summer when it’s just too hot to play normally. Most of
the time, people play American football as the main activity. But, if football is too rough for you, you
can also play soccer and volleyball. Like most American sports events, there’s a lot of food and cold
drinks. So, if getting covered in mud doesn’t sound like fun, you can just watch and eat some
barbecue, hamburgers, or hot-dogs!

So just before we did Charlie’s Omiya Mairi, we went shopping for a stroller for him. The store had so
many different types of strollers, which made choosing difficult. Along with a bunch of accessories, there
some baby dolls to test out the strollers. These ‘test’ baby dolls looked like they had been doing their job
for far too long. Maybe it’s time they moved onto a different job. What do you think?
